BanglayShikhi is a Bengali-first education startup that teaches Statistics, Data Science, Python & R to Bangla-speaking learners — free, structured, and in their mother language.
Over 250 million people speak Bengali, yet high-quality data science and statistics education is overwhelmingly in English. BanglayShikhi closes that language gap.
Alongside our Bengali tutorials, we also show learners how to use AI tools such as Claude to study and practise with Python, R, SPSS and Stata.
We are a student-founded team. Our next stage is using AI to make Bengali learning more personal, accessible and scalable.
An Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) competition organised by BanglayShikhi for 1st & 2nd year students of Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University (MBSTU), held on 12 July 2026.
